LISD will roll out Novell client upgrade Wednesday, February 18
LISD will roll out the new Novell client beginning at 6:00 am Wednesday, February 18. The current client version is well over a year old and does not work well with our current server environment. This patch includes enhancements as well as fixes that are necessary for LISD to move forward with current projects. The process will require two reboots.
Upon login the update will begin. You will see a file copy box appear twice on your screen. Let the files copy and please do not click cancel. A dialog box will appear. Please click "OK" to reboot your machine. After your second login a dialog box will appear stating, "Your computer has been update with a new version of the Application Launcher..." Please select "Yes" to complete the installation and reboot the PC.
The login account must have administrator privileges to run this update. Please use your staff account during this process. If you receive an error message, please contact your Technology Associate or LISD at x4300.
