GroupWise Upgrade Begins October 10
Beginning on Monday, Oct. 10, GroupWise clients (except those in the College of Law and in University College) will be able to install the new Novell “Support Pack” upgrade for GroupWise 6.5 on their computers. Please click “yes” when the pop-up box appears after you log into GroupWise. Clicking “no” will delay the installation; however, the upgrade will be automatically installed after the fifth time you click the “no” button.
The installation process will take about five minutes. If you interrupt the process, the upgrade will not be successfully installed.
The new support pack is designed to make a number of behind-the-scenes functions within GroupWise 6.5 work more efficiently, and includes enhancements to the address book, appointments, calendar, and busy search. The changes will generally be invisible to most clients who use the mail system.
